It’s been an emotional post-season for the All-Star first baseman and face of the franchise.
Before, during, and after the Blue Jays magical postseason run, there have been several shots of Guerrero crying or near tears, happy and grateful for what this team has become.
He was visibly emotional after the team’s Game 7 win that sent them back to the World Series for the first time since the 1990s.

A lone Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was emotional in the dugout following the Blue Jays’ Game 7 loss.
Now, he is letting Canada know how he truly feels.
In a lengthy post on Instagram, he mentions how 2025 was a year that changed his life and that he had a feeling it would be special after he signed his historic contract extension.
While the pain of losing – coming within two outs of the franchise’s first world series in 32 years before ultimately falling to the Dodgers in extra innings – will be felt for quite a while, Vladdy is all-in on the Blue Jays. For now. Forever.

As much as the Blue Jays mean to him, it’s possible he means even more to Toronto, – the team and the city – and the country as a whole.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. pledges to bring home World Series in 2026.
After everything Guerrero, this team, this country has been through, Vladdy has pledged to bring it all home in 2026.

WE WERE BORN READY. WE STAY READY.
