One reunion in the NFL still refuses to die.
Even after signing a new receiver, the Patriots may still be chasing A.J. Brown.

Patriots Still Eye A.J. Brown Reunion With Mike Vrabel Despite Free Agency Moves
FOXBOROUGH — The idea of A.J. Brown reuniting with Mike Vrabel in New England has been one of the most talked-about storylines of the NFL offseason.
And despite the Patriots already making moves at wide receiver, the possibility is still very much alive.
Recent reports suggested a potential trade between the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles had stalled because of the steep price Philadelphia was demanding for its star receiver.
But according to Patriots executive Eliot Wolf, the team hasn’t closed the door on making a deal happen.
“We’ll explore anything we think can help the team,” Wolf said. “We’re always open to trying to improve the team any way we can.”

In other words, if an opportunity to bring Brown to Foxborough emerges, the Patriots will be ready to pursue it.
The Vrabel–A.J. Brown Connection
The potential reunion carries extra intrigue because of Brown’s history with Mike Vrabel.
Brown thrived under Vrabel during their time together with the Tennessee Titans, developing into one of the NFL’s most dangerous receivers before eventually being traded to the Eagles.
Now that Vrabel is leading the Patriots, speculation has grown that the coach would love to bring Brown back into his offensive system.

Romeo Doubs Doesn’t End the Pursuit
Earlier in free agency, the Patriots signed Romeo Doubs, a young receiver formerly with the Green Bay Packers.
The addition helped fill the gap created by the surprising release of Stefon Diggs, but it doesn’t necessarily eliminate the team’s interest in Brown.

Doubs may strengthen the receiver room, but Brown would instantly become the offense’s true No. 1 weapon.
And more importantly, he could give quarterback Drake Maye the elite playmaker many believe the Patriots still need.
No Deadline for a Deal
Another key detail from Wolf’s comments: there’s no hard deadline for trade discussions.
The only real limits, he explained, come from salary-cap considerations.
“I wouldn’t say there’s a deadline on trying to improve the team,” Wolf said.
That means the Patriots could continue exploring a Brown trade well into the offseason if the opportunity arises.
A Move That Could Transform the Offense

Adding A.J. Brown would dramatically change the outlook of New England’s offense.
The star receiver is known for his explosive playmaking ability, physicality, and reliability, making him one of the most complete receivers in the NFL.
Pairing him with Drake Maye could instantly elevate the Patriots’ passing attack and accelerate the team’s rebuild under Vrabel.
For now, the deal remains uncertain.

But as long as the Patriots remain open to improving their roster, the possibility of A.J. Brown joining Mike Vrabel in New England remains a storyline worth watching.
