Drake Maye Escapes to Hawaii After Super Bowl Heartbreak
Drake Maye isn’t spending his offseason sulking.

After falling short in Super Bowl LX, the Patriots quarterback hit reset the best way possible — sunshine, ocean views, and time with his wife.
The 23-year-old and Ann Michael jetted off to what appears to be Hawaii, trading a blizzard-covered East Coast for palm trees and turquoise water.
And yes — there were leis involved.
🌴 “Alohaaaa”
Ann Michael shared glimpses of the trip on Instagram, posting a photo with “Alohaaaa” written across it, while rocking a purple Hawaiian lei.

Maye stood just behind her wearing a traditional Kukui Nut Lei.
She later posted a TikTok showing off the couple’s balcony view — sweeping ocean scenery, clear skies, and the kind of backdrop that screams “mental reset.”
After a season that ended in disappointment, the timing makes sense.
🏈 From 14–3 to Super Bowl Pain
Maye led the Patriots to a 14–3 regular season in Mike Vrabel’s first year as head coach.

The second-year quarterback was electric all season, earning Pro Bowl honors and pushing New England back into championship relevance.
But the Seahawks defense had other plans in the Super Bowl.
Maye battled through a shoulder injury and endured:
- 2 interceptions
- 6 sacks
- 1 fumble
Seattle walked away with a 29–13 win.
The dream season ended abruptly.

💍 Newlyweds, New Perspective
Maye and Ann Michael were married in June 2025 after dating since 2015.
She’s been publicly supportive through both the highs and the lows.
After the Super Bowl defeat, she posted a simple message:
“This is only the beginning.”

For a 23-year-old quarterback who just played in a Super Bowl, that’s not blind optimism — it’s realistic.
🔄 Reset Before Reload
The NFL calendar never really stops.
Free agency.
The draft.
OTAs.
Training camp.
But before the grind begins again, Maye appears to be doing something smart: stepping away.
Clearing his head.
Healing physically.
Resetting emotionally.

Because if the 2025 season proved anything, it’s that New England is back in contention.
And heartbreak like that? It usually fuels the next run.
