Reid was spotted courtside during the Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City, cheering on the BYU Cougars as they faced the Kansas State Wildcats.
For the veteran NFL coach, it was a moment to reconnect with his roots while the basketball world—and the NFL offseason—continued to buzz around him.
A Huge Night for BYU
Reid picked quite the game to attend.
BYU delivered a dominant performance, defeating Kansas State 105–91 to advance deeper into the conference tournament.
The night belonged to AJ Dybantsa, who put on an unforgettable show in his Big 12 Tournament debut.
The standout freshman exploded for 40 points, electrifying the crowd and leading the Cougars to victory.
He wasn’t alone in the scoring effort either.
BYU had multiple contributors step up:

The balanced offensive attack helped BYU control the game and punch their ticket to the next round.
A Brief Pause From NFL Chaos
For Reid, the appearance came in the middle of one of the busiest times of the NFL calendar.
