Cameron Brink’s risque photoshoot for Players Magazine has fans turning their heads.
‌
The 23-year-old is one of the biggest defensive stars in the league, with many of her Los Angeles Sparks teammates claiming she has the potential to be a Defensive Player of the Year award winner in the near future. Before that time, however, she continues to rehab from a torn ACL injury, which ended her rookie season early.

As she continues to recover, Brink has been making the most of her opportunities off the court, as she is set to appear in Players Magazine’s upcoming June issue, the publication’s first. And Brink made sure to come out with a bang, as her showcase has fans’ interest piqued.

Standing in front of a black background, Brink is shown wearing a black suit with an unbuttoned gray undershirt with a retro-styled lit cigarette in her mouth. What has fans captivated was the fact that Brink’s chest is bare, though she remains covered up.
Another photo shows Brink with the cigarette in her hand in front of the same backdrop, with her trousers appearing to be a split between regular slacks and a skirt while she wears white high heels. On Instagram, the magazine shared a brief excerpt of what Brink said regarding the photoshoot.
“I definitely don’t let basketball define me solely anymore,” the magazine’s caption on Instagram read. It added: “[Brink] opens up about the WNBA, fashion week, her season-ending injury and more in the inaugural issue of PLAYERS.”

Fans on Instagram were enamored by the post, with one fan writing: “Cameron is a beauty on and off the court. Hurry back!! Exciting to watch her energy on the court!!” WNBA stars Courtney Williams and Rae Burrell left messages of support for Brink, with Steph Curry’s sister Sydel also sharing her thoughts on the pose.
While Brink continues to turn heads off the court, it will be interesting to see how she is reintegrated into the Sparks’ offensive system. However, once she returns to the court this season, her defensive ability will not be of concern.
‌
Although she had an abbreviated rookie season, her new teammates Sarah Ashlee Barker and Kelsey Plum believe Brink has shown enough to be a defensive force in the league for years to come.

“Their medical team will decide, but she’s extremely talented and she’s so raw. And what she did in just the 14 games she played in shows her potential and what she can be in this league.”
She added: “I’ve said it before, I think she can be a Defensive Player of the Year and really be the anchor for us. So Cam’s doing everything she can to get healthy and she’ll be back soon.
“Everyone saw what she did at the beginning of her rookie season last year. And so imagine her being back and healthy, what that looks like. And I think that that’s something that is very likely and very possible for her.”
