His focus isnāt on reacting to Kansas City ā itās on building a roster capable of competing on its own terms.
āI think our job in the personnel department is to give Klint [Kubiak] as many good players as we can that fit his vision and his scheme,ā Spytek explained.
Kubiak, the Raidersā offensive coordinator, has emphasized creating a system that maximizes the strengths of the players on the roster.
Spytekās job is to ensure those players exist.
Bigger Challenges Still Ahead
While the McDuffie trade may slightly alter the AFC West landscape, the Raiders know their biggest challenge remains internal.
They must upgrade talent, improve depth, and build a roster capable of competing in one of the NFLās toughest divisions.
