The ābleach-blonde bad-built butch bodyā is quitting.
Progressive Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) threw shade at her nemesis, firebrand Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greeneās (R-Ga.) retirement announcement, chiding that her Republican foe could never handle the slings and arrows she takes.
āHonestly, I was like, you have got to be kidding me,ā Crockett gasped on CNNās āState of the Unionā Sunday when asked for her reaction to Greeneās shock announcement.

āYouāre on the other side of the president for one week, and you canāt take the heat. Imagine what it is to sit in my shoes, to not only be on the opposite side of him, but to have people like her who are constantly fanning the flames of hate.ā
Greene stunned the beltway Friday by announcing her plans to retire from Congress on Jan. 5, 2026, just after the five-year mark needed to be eligible for a congressional pension when she turns 62.
The surprise move came almost a week after President Trump withdrew support for Greene and called for a primary challenge against her.
Greene had been publicly bashing Trumpās policies for weeks, questioning his adherence to the āAmerica Firstā creed, backing an effort to force the release of the Justice Departmentās files on late sex predator Jeffrey Epstein, and knocking Republicans on healthcare policy.
After Trump went on a full-throated screed against her, Greene raised concerns that she had weathered death threats and expressed regret over some of the political flamethrowing she had done in the past.
āImagine what those threats look like when you literally are someone like me,ā Crockett jabbed on CNN.

āThis really speaks to the fact that Marjorie, who has been an instigator of a lot of this hate that we see as it relates to the MAGA movement, itās just interesting that I donāt know if she really fully understood how bad she was making it for other people.ā
Both Crockett and Greene gained a reputation for being bombastic members of the House, particularly during high-profile committee hearings.
Famously, during a House Oversight Committee hearing last year, Crockett bashed Greene as a ābleach-blonde bad-built butch bodyā during a markup on a resolution to hold then-Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress.
Greene had provoked Crockett by chiding that her āfake eyelashes are messing up what youāre reading.ā
Right after Greeneās retirement announcement, Crockett had publicly suggested the two could bury the hatchet and work on a āsafety legislationā for certain members of Congress facing threats.
The Post reached out to Greeneās office for comment.
During her interview with CNN, Crockett revealed that she intends to make a decision by Thanksgiving about whether to run for the Texas Senate seat held by Sen. John Cornyn (R).
āI am still thinking about running,ā she said. āWe did get our polling back. So we are moving on to the next phase to determine whether or not this would make sense in the moment.ā
āWe will make a final decision by Thanksgiving on whether or not weāre going to ultimately move forward,ā she added. āTo be perfectly honest, the only reason that Iām continuing to consider whether or not I do this is because my polling says I can win. That is the bottom line.ā
