Sara Haines was bleeped during segment of The View on Tuesday, Nov. 18, after mentalist Oz Pearlman accurately revealed her four-digit ATM PIN (personal identification number) on air.
Viewers didn’t hear Haines’ slip-up, but could see the co-host clearly mouth the words “What the f—?” before throwing her hands up and covering her mouth.
“Again! Again!” Haines’ colleague Joy Behar said, in reference to a moment during the ‘Hot Topics’ segment when Haines nearly used the F-word. “That’s two times now!”
But Haines couldn’t get over the surprise. “No one knows my PIN,” she said, mouth agape. “Why would you say it on national television!”

Pearlman had gotten to that number after previously asking Haines to make up a fake ATM PIN, noting that skeptics watching at home wouldn’t believe the information he had been revealing on air (like the birthday of co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin‘s best friend or the name of one of Ana Navarro‘s friends).
“People always say, ‘He stalked all of you! He sent private investigators! He knows everything about your best friend!’ ” Pearlman recalled. “But what if I asked you right now to think of your ATM PIN code? If I guessed it, people will say, ‘He must have found that out [before this].’ So if I ask instead to make up a random PIN code, how could I know that because you wouldn’t even know what you would do?”
From there, Pearlman proceeded to not only guess the fake number Haines had come up with (1225, which happened to coincidentally be the birthday of Navarro’s friend). But then he took it one step further.
“Are you ready for this, Sara? Your real code?” Pearlman asked, before saying the number.
Her reaction struck fear into the eyes of the rest of the panel. “Do not announce my baby’s name!” a pregnant Griffin said, proactively.Sara Haines on ‘The View’.

Pearlman was on The View to promote his new book, Read Your Mind: Proven Habits for Success from the World’s Greatest Mentalist.

Out now, the book lays out principles of mentalism that everyone can incorporate into their everyday lives.
“I am not a mind-reader. I am not a psychic. I don’t have supernatural powers. I’m not teaching you to be psychic in this book. It’s all about habits for success,” said Pearlman. “I’ve learned how to read people more effectively, how to navigate how people think, and use that to my advantage.”
“Everyone looks like an overnight success until you look at the years of work put in,” the Emmy Award-winning mentalist continued. “What I want to do is teach you how to walk into a room and be the most memorable person when you walk out. How to connect with people on a different level. How to analyze people’s body language in ways that allow you to know, ‘Are they really interested in me when they say I want to see you again?’ In your relationships, at work, when you’re walking up to your boss to determine when’s the best moment to approach them to get the raise you deserve. How do you learn people’s patterns?”
The View airs weekdays (11 a.m. ET) on ABC.
