Stefon Diggs is back on the market — and several NFL contenders could be lining up for the veteran wide receiver. 🏈

After the New England Patriots decided to release the four-time Pro Bowler, the next question is simple: Where will he play in 2026?
Potential Landing Spots for Stefon Diggs After Patriots Release
After just one season in New England, Stefon Diggs will hit free agency again when the new league year begins on March 11.

Despite being 32 years old, Diggs proved in 2025 that he can still produce at a high level. He recorded 85 receptions for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns, helping the Patriots return to playoff contention.
Now the veteran receiver faces an interesting decision:
👉 Join a team where he’s the No. 1 target
or
👉 Become a complementary piece on a contender
Several teams could emerge as strong landing spots.

Washington Commanders
The Commanders could be a natural fit for Diggs.
Washington currently has five receivers scheduled to hit free agency, including Deebo Samuel, which could leave a major gap in their receiving corps.
If he signs there, Diggs could help quarterback Jayden Daniels by forming a receiving group alongside:
- Terry McLaurin
- Luke McCaffrey
Washington also has ample salary cap space, making the move financially realistic.

Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens have long been criticized for not giving Lamar Jackson enough help at wide receiver.
Adding Diggs could instantly improve Baltimore’s receiving group.

He would likely line up alongside Pro Bowl receiver Zay Flowers, while providing experience and route-running ability to a team with championship aspirations.
Baltimore could also have openings at the position with DeAndre Hopkins and Tylan Wallace both heading toward free agency.
San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers may also be looking for help at receiver.
Several of their wideouts — including Jauan Jennings and Kendrick Bourne — could hit free agency, and Brandin Aiyuk’s future with the team remains uncertain after a disappointing 2025 season.
Diggs could help relieve pressure on young receiver Ricky Pearsall, who showed flashes of potential during his first two NFL seasons.
Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers were aggressively searching for wide receiver help last season but failed to land a major target.
Diggs could fit well in Pittsburgh’s offense by complementing DK Metcalf, who drew heavy defensive attention during his first season with the team.
However, there’s a major question mark in Pittsburgh: the quarterback situation.
Veteran Aaron Rodgers has been linked to the team but has not yet confirmed whether he plans to play in 2026.

Tennessee Titans
If Diggs wants a familiar coaching environment, Tennessee could be intriguing.
The Titans recently hired Brian Daboll as offensive coordinator, and Diggs thrived under Daboll during their time together in Buffalo.
Signing with Tennessee would also give Diggs the chance to mentor rookie quarterback Cam Ward, the former No. 1 overall pick.
However, the Titans may not yet be ready to compete for a Super Bowl.
What Diggs Must Decide
At this stage of his career, Diggs must weigh two factors:
🏆 Chasing another championship
📈 Maintaining a major role in an offense
The veteran receiver showed in 2025 that he can still produce at a high level, so teams looking for experience, leadership and reliable production will likely have interest.
Where Diggs ultimately lands could become one of the biggest storylines of the 2026 NFL offseason.
