Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Step Out for Rare NYC Date Night
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are proving that even a snowstorm can’t freeze a red-hot romance.
The engaged couple was spotted braving the wintry streets of New York City on Feb. 24 for a rare public outing at the private members’ club Chez Margaux. Despite recent record-breaking snowfall, the two looked cozy and coordinated as they left the venue hand-in-hand.
Kelce, 36, kept it casual in striped pants, a gray coat and matching beanie, while Swift, also 36, stunned in a black Louis Vuitton coat paired with leather boots and her signature red lip.
She accessorized with a black Louis Vuitton bag featuring the brand’s classic monogram lining and subtle silver jewelry. Ever the gentleman, Kelce was seen opening the car door for his fiancée before they departed.
Keeping a Low Profile — But Staying Busy
The couple has largely stayed out of the spotlight in recent weeks, with their last date night taking place in Los Angeles in January. Still, that doesn’t mean they’ve been disconnected from the world.
During the Feb. 25 episode of the New Heights podcast, Kelce revealed that he and Swift were glued to the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics — especially Team USA’s dramatic men’s hockey gold-medal win over Canada.
“Me and Tay watched the entire game, man,” Kelce shared with his brother Jason. “From the first drop of the puck, that game was nonstop action. It had me at the edge of my seat.”
Swift has been vocal about her Olympic enthusiasm, even recording a special message for Team USA ahead of the Opening Ceremony and interacting with athletes on social media.
Wedding Plans in Motion
While the pair hasn’t revealed specific details about their upcoming wedding, Swift previously hinted that it will be anything but small.
“I’m so excited about it,” she said during an October appearance on The Graham Norton Show. “I know it’s gonna be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble… I’m not gonna do that.”
Translation? Expect a celebration as big as their love story.
From Friendship Bracelet to Fiancé
Swift and Kelce’s romance began in July 2023 when the Chiefs tight end famously tried (and failed) to give her a friendship bracelet at her Eras Tour stop in Kansas City. After publicly recounting the moment on his podcast, he invited her to a Chiefs game — and sparks flew.
Since then, their relationship has included:
