Everyone has come to realize The View has become nothing more than a Democrat agenda mouthpiece. Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg scream in tirades, saying things that are factually incorrect, to the cheers of a studio audience who is equally as clueless as the show’s hosts. The perfect example: Joy Behar once said on the show that Dr. Jill Biden should be the U.S. Surgeon General. Not understanding that Jill Biden has a doctorate in education, not in the medical field. Nevertheless, the blind supporters in the crowd cheered the idea.
It perfectly encapsulates how clueless the shows panel and viewers have become. They refuse to hear any dissenting viewpoints and only hear what they want to hear. Enter Stephen A. Smith, the sports show host turned potential politician. He went on recently and locked horns with Whoopi Goldberg about the Democrat party’s path forward for 2026.
All Smith said was that the Democrats need to focus on real issues. You know, like crime, the border, affordability, things Americans actually care about, instead of transgender rights for children and hating President Trump. He is entirely 100-percent correct. Of course, the View panel was not having that, arguing against logic and common sense every step of the way.
It has become abundantly clear the party needs a new direction, but they simply do not want to hear it. Jennifer Oliver O’Connell of The Red State says their entire agenda is not only hating Trump but pushing their failed radical socialist ideology that Americans have vehemently rejected.
“So, his commentary that democrats need to focus on winning, and go for what people care about, was spot on,” she says.
Again, it is just basic common sense that the American voter clearly does not care about whatever attack the Left has for President Trump. They have attacked him over tax returns, civil fraud, mortgage fraud, hot mic tapes, you name it. Yet still, he has been elected twice. Because people do not care about tabloid politics and hatred. They care about results.
President Trump has provided results, and then some, so far in his second term. Democrats cannot stand that and have doubled down on their ridiculous ideology to call anyone who is not a Democrat a “fascist.” Even their own collogues, like Stephen A. Smith, catch heat for simply saying something logical. That is just how far gone the party is now.
“They seem resentful of the fact some Democrats are jumping on the bandwagon, somehow seeing it as a capitulation to President Trump,” says O’Connell. “No, they just understand the issues people care about are affordability and safety.”
This radical agenda by the Democrats was already rejected as well. That happened in the 2024 election cycle, when voters made it abundantly clear they do not support the ideas of the current Democrat party. Not just the idea, but the political attacks as well. They have no platform and no true ideas for change now.
Yet they beat the same drum all night long. The View is the prime mouthpiece for that. They kick, scream, and try to lecture the country from their ivory tower. Defending criminals, illegal aliens, and disastrous economic policies that have plunged the economy to the brink of destruction. They have absorbed themselves into a deluded bubble and lost touch with basic reality.
“Obviously [Whoopi] has never had to worry about it, and none of the view audience has had to worry about it for a long time…so, they lose perspective,” O’Connell says.
You can say the entire base has “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” and that would be true. But there is a new disease spreading in the party. That is called the socialist disease. The cure would simply be looking in a mirror and self-reflecting.
But expecting Democrats to do that would be like expecting snow in South Padre. It is not going to happen without a miracle. The socialist disease is spreading, and it could be the end of the Democrat party in future elections.
