DJ Moore played a key role for the Chicago Bears this past season. They finished the regular season with an 11-6 record, clinching the NFC North title for the first time since 2018.

The Bears also won their first playoff game in 15 years. They also came agonizingly close to booking their spot in the NFC Championship Game. However, it wasn’t meant to be as they lost to the Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round, 20-17.
That game ended Moore’s campaign on a sour note. His moment of hesitation in overtime led to quarterback Caleb Williams getting intercepted by Rams safety Kam Curl. This ultimately led to the Bears’ season-ending loss.

Williams put it down to miscommunication and a learning moment, which Moore later echoed.
Chicago Bears WR DJ Moore’s parting message for 2025 season
Moore capped his 2025 NFL season with an Instagram post that showed his gratitude for his eight years in the NFL. His post simply stated “Year 8⃣: Forever Grateful
Moore was simply sending a parting message to the 2025 season. Some fans, however, showed apprehension about his post.
One said, “Dude… this better not mean anything like it’s been fun and all that. Year nine has to be coming for the Bears. Without DJ, this season doesn’t happen. He was by far the most reliable WR, absolutely durable, played through injuries, took big hits while making impossible catches, no fear.”
“Totally agree. His value is massive. I would hate to lose him,” another posted.

“bro my heart jumped and that’s the first thing I thought about,” agreed a fan.
“you are absolutely right. These goofys who just trying to get clicks on their YouTube channel and fantasy football need to stop. I’m riding with @idjmoore till he says he’s ready to leave the crib.
” declared a supporter.

“there was a video saying he was coming back,” said another.
“When I started reading it, I was like, ‘No, no, no, no….’
” revealed a user.

Moore is under contract with the Bears through 2029. This only means the only way he’s leaving Chicago is if the Bears trade or release him.

For his part, Moore has indicated that he wants to stay in Chicago and be part of the organization’s future.
