The Las Vegas Raiders have officially finalized Klint Kubiak’s first coaching staff — and surprisingly, very few of his former Seattle Seahawks assistants followed him to Las Vegas. 🏈

Raiders Finalize Klint Kubiak’s Coaching Staff

The Las Vegas Raiders have completed assembling their coaching staff for the 2026 season under new head coach Klint Kubiak.

Despite Kubiak coming from the Seattle Seahawks, only two assistants from Seattle’s Super Bowl-winning staff made the move with him to Las Vegas.

Only Two Seahawks Coaches Followed Kubiak

According to reports, the only former Seahawks assistants joining Kubiak are:

Andrew Janocko – Offensive Coordinator
Rick Dennison – Offensive Line Coach

Both coaches worked with Kubiak in Seattle and will now help implement his offensive system with the Raiders.

The Raiders reportedly attempted to hire Justin Outten as run game coordinator, but the Seahawks blocked the lateral move, preventing another Seattle assistant from leaving.

Familiar Faces Remain From Pete Carroll’s Staff

Kubiak didn’t completely overhaul the coaching staff.

Several assistants from Pete Carroll’s 2025 Raiders staff were retained, including:

Rob Leonard – Defensive Coordinator (promoted)
Joe Woods – Pass Game Coordinator
Kenyon Jackson – Assistant Defensive Line Coach
Luke Steckel – Tight Ends Coach
Matt Capurro – Senior VP of Coaching Operations

Keeping some continuity could help the team transition into Kubiak’s new system.

Interesting Addition: Cooper Kupp’s Brother

One unique name on the staff is Ketner Kupp, the younger brother of Seahawks star receiver Cooper Kupp.

Ketner Kupp will serve as defensive quality control coach.

The two brothers briefly shared time with the Los Angeles Rams in 2019, when Ketner signed as an undrafted linebacker but did not make the final roster.

Seahawks Keep Most of Their Staff

Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald previously indicated that he expected no further departures from Seattle’s coaching staff.

That prediction proved accurate, as the Raiders ultimately added only a couple of assistants from the Seahawks organization.
