Cardi B didn’t ask to be part of the Nicki Minaj bot controversy. But once her name got dragged in, she came out swinging.

The drama exploded after a Politico report cited findings from Israeli data firm Cyabra, which claimed that a “sophisticated army of bots” helped amplify political content on Nicki Minaj’s X account.
Then things escalated.
Self-described Trump advisor Alex Bruesewitz dismissed the report as a “total scam” — and attempted to connect Cardi B to it by pointing out that her agent, Mike G, is affiliated with Cyabra.
That’s when Cardi responded.
Hard.
“You wet dirty dog.”
Cardi didn’t just deny involvement — she threatened legal action.

“Listen, you involved me in something that has nothing to do wit me so now we’re gonna talk about the facts… I’ll sue you, you wet dirty dog.”
She clarified that:
- Cyabra is a data analytics company with multiple investors
- Mike G is one of many investors
- The company has major clients, including Elon Musk and Pepsi
- Even former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo sits on its advisory board
Her point?
Investment does not equal operational control.
And she made it clear she has zero involvement in the report about Minaj.
“I don’t have anything to do with that and I don’t give AF.”
What the Report Actually Claimed
Cyabra’s analysis found that:
- 33% of accounts interacting with Minaj over a two-month span were inauthentic
- On Dec. 26, 56% of comments on certain political posts were from fake accounts
- The firm concluded there was “coordinated fake amplification” of political content
The report did not accuse Minaj of personally orchestrating bots — but it suggested her political messaging received artificial amplification.

Minaj has not publicly responded to the findings.
The Political Layer
Nicki Minaj has leaned more openly into right-wing politics over the past year, even appearing with Donald Trump at a January event tied to his “Trump Accounts” policy.
She later claimed she received a “Trump Gold Card” that finalized her U.S. citizenship.
Meanwhile, Cardi B has historically been more aligned with progressive politics — though she’s often critical across party lines.
Their long-running feud added fuel to the fire.

So when Cardi’s name surfaced in a controversy tied to Nicki’s political rise?
It was combustible.
Cardi’s Bigger Point
Beyond defending herself, Cardi questioned why a Trump advisor was engaging in a public spat with her at all.
“America got so many issues… Yet Trump’s advisor is arguing on Twitter with a female rapper.”
Her tone suggested frustration not just with the accusation — but with the political spectacle surrounding it.
The Core Reality
There is no evidence Cardi B had any role in Cyabra’s report.
Her agent’s advisory affiliation with the company is public.

Cardi says she doesn’t manage or track her agent’s investments.

At this point, the situation is:
- A data firm released a report
- A political advisor dismissed it
- Cardi got pulled in by association
- She forcefully rejected the connection
And the long-running Cardi–Nicki tension just gained another chapter — even if unintentionally.
