Chelsea Gray: From “Point Gawd” to WNBA Champion and New Mom
Chelsea Gray, famously nicknamed the “Point Gawd,” has become a household name in women’s basketball. Currently starring for the Las Vegas Aces in the WNBA and representing Rose BC of Unrivaled, Gray’s journey has been full of twists, triumphs, and personal milestones.

Drafted 11th overall by the Connecticut Sun in 2014, Gray faced an early setback, missing her rookie season due to injury. But she bounced back stronger,
making her debut in 2015 and quickly proving herself as one of the league’s most dynamic playmakers. Her career reached a peak in 2016 when she won her first WNBA title with the Los Angeles Sparks.

Off the court, Gray’s life has been just as eventful. In November 2019, she married former Long Beach State and American Samoan basketball player Tipesa Moorer. Four years later, in February 2024, the couple welcomed their first child, Lennox Ali’i Gray, marking a new chapter in the superstar’s life.
From dazzling fans on the court to celebrating milestones in her personal life, Chelsea Gray continues to redefine what it means to be a modern basketball icon.
