Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton has shared an emotional update about his beloved bulldog Roscoe, who is currently in critical condition after suffering from pneumonia.

Roscoe’s Health Scare
On Friday, Hamilton took to social media to let fans know that Roscoe had been admitted to the hospital. The 39-year-old driver explained that Roscoe had been struggling to breathe due to pneumonia and was sedated for medical checks. During the procedure, Roscoe’s heart stopped.
Thankfully, veterinarians were able to revive him, but Roscoe is now in a coma. Hamilton wrote:
“Please keep Roscoe in your thoughts. I want to keep you all updated. Roscoe caught pneumonia again and was struggling to breathe. He was admitted into hospital and sedated to calm him while they did checks on him and during the process his heart stopped. They managed to get a heartbeat back and now he’s in a coma. We don’t know whether he will wake from this. Tomorrow we’ll try to wake him up. I’m by his side and want to thank you all for your prayers and support.”
