The coast of Ibiza, Spain — usually a place of golden sunshine and gentle waves — suddenly became the epicenter of a global tragedy this morning. Elon Musk’s luxury yacht, Solaris, which was the pride of his family, suddenly listed sharply and capsized in just a few short minutes in the middle of the ocean. Screams tore through the peaceful atmosphere, many witnesses said they saw the giant hull of the ship spinning as if being engulfed by an invisible force.

A diver in the rescue team shuddered as he recalled: “When we broke the door of the main compartment, there was a violent burst of oil smoke and water bubbles. And then, there he was, motionless, no sign of life.” Elon Musk, the billionaire who once dreamed of conquering Mars, is now dead in the middle of the deep blue ocean.

The Spanish Coast Guard said the emergency signal was sent just 3 minutes before the yacht disappeared from radar. The initial cause was suspected to be a combination of engine failure and sudden large waves, but many theories arose about a collision with a floating object. Rescue helicopters circled, lifeboats rushed out, sirens blared. The first images recorded showed the giant white hull capsized, smoke and oil covering the water surface.
The moment Musk’s body was brought to shore was extremely shocking. Paramedics immediately performed CPR, repeated chest compressions, and the oxygen mask was tightly closed. The defibrillator continuously sounded “clear!”, but all efforts were in vain. The head doctor of the emergency team choked up and announced: “He did not survive before we arrived.”
The bad news spread around the world in the blink of an eye. In New York, the Nasdaq screen changed to the words: “Goodbye Elon.” In Paris, thousands gathered at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, lighting white candles. In Tokyo, Tesla fans lined up model cars to write “Musk Forever” in Shibuya Square. On social media, the hashtags #PrayForElon and #GoodbyeMusk spread like a tsunami.
In Los Angeles, thousands of SpaceX engineers gathered, many of them crying together. A colleague turned on livestream and whispered: “He gave us big dreams, but now those dreams are shattered.” Musk’s family issued a short announcement: “Elon left with the love of the ocean.”
The double incident made the tragedy worse when hundreds of fans crowded the beach to see the scene with their own eyes, causing the wooden pier to collapse, 20 people fell into the sea. Rescue forces had to be deployed a second time, and more crying echoed.
Night fell, Ibiza beach became a “cemetery of light.” White candles were arranged in the shape of Elon’s name, flowers covered the sand, waves lapped with sobs. And the world suddenly realized: the man who once brought humanity to dream of the universe had passed away in the middle of the vast ocean, leaving behind deep pain and an unanswered question.
