“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” is headed to Brooklyn starting tonight, Monday, Sept. 29 amid a successful ratings surge following his return to late night after being suspended by ABC for comments he made on the shooting death of Charlie Kirk.

Kimmel, who usually films at a studio in Hollywood, California, is headed to the Brooklyn Academy of Music for a week’s worth of shows.
Kimmel, who quipped in his monologue on Thursday, Sept. 25 the show had to “stay on the move so the FCC can’t get us,” will bring in a star-studded guest lineup that includes New Jersey’s Bruce Springsteen, Tom Hanks, Emily Blunt and Stephen Colbert — whose own New York-based show was canceled earlier this year.
