The Las Vegas Aces’ leader recently appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show, where she allowed fans a rare glimpse into her private life and shared how she feels about being with her beloved partner.
Jennifer Hudson didn’t miss the opportunity to ask her guest about her relationship with the Miami Heat star. Wilson, smiling and at ease, answered candidly:
It’s amazing. Bam, he’s a gem. He’s a gem. He’s a star, obviously, in his own world, but when it comes to us, he’s always showing up.
Though there had been hints that the two were dating, Wilson didn’t speak openly about their bond until Valentine’s Day 2024, when she revealed some of her plans for the romantic occasion. During her conversation with Hudson, she expressed deep appreciation for Adebayo’s constant encouragement and presence.
His unwavering support, I mean, he was flying in and out of town. And he always, constantly shows up for me. And I’m just grateful to have a partner that is just along with the ride, like just there through the times where I can’t be A’ja Wilson all the time. He picks me up. And so, I’m always grateful for his support. It’s gentle. It’s kind, and I love that he allows me to just kind of let my guard down because I feel like I have to be on so much. But Bam allows me just to be the kid, the crazy, goofy girl that I am. And I’m appreciative of him.
