Crown Prince Leka of Albania has announced his engagement to Blerta Celibashi, marking a new chapter in his personal life. The couple made the announcement on October 12, 2025, via the prince’s official Instagram, sharing their joyous news with the public. The engagement follows their relationship becoming public in September 2024, and comes 18 months after Crown Prince Leka’s divorce from his first wife, Crown Princess Elia, was finalized.

The royal couple’s engagement was celebrated in a private ceremony on October 11, 2025, in Ksamil, Albania, surrounded by family and close friends. The Albanian Royal Court issued an official statement expressing the royal family’s happiness and gratitude to those who sent well-wishes. Along with the announcement, Crown Prince Leka and Blerta shared photos from the occasion, one of which shows the couple posing in an airy room, and another capturing Leka wrapping Blerta in a loving hug outdoors.

Blerta, who gave a behind-the-scenes look at the engagement photo shoot, posted a reel to her Instagram on October 13. The video, set to the song “So This Is Love” by Sneha featuring ConTejas, showed Blerta getting ready for the photo call—having her hair and makeup done, but applying her own mascara. The footage then flashed to Blerta dressed in a champagne gown with statement earrings, striking a graceful pose. She was joined by Crown Prince Leka and his daughter, Princess Geraldine, 4, from his first marriage to Elia.
In her own Instagram post, Blerta shared three solo photos, including a close-up shot of her sparkling engagement ring. “There was love in the air, and peace in my heart 💚,” she captioned the images, giving her followers a glimpse of the love and joy surrounding the moment.

This marriage will be the second for Crown Prince Leka, who is a father and the head of the Albanian royal family. The announcement marks a significant milestone for the royal family, as the couple looks forward to their future together.
