Another snapshot features Brink with the cigarette casually in hand, sporting trousers that are a hybrid of pants and a skirt, paired with chic white high heels. Players Magazine took to Instagram to tease a snippet of Brink’s thoughts from the shoot.
“I definitely don’t let basketball define me solely anymore,” reads the Instagram caption from the magazine. It continues: “[Brink] opens up about the WNBA, fashion week, her season-ending injury and more in the inaugural issue of PLAYERS.”
Instagram was buzzing with admiration for the post, as one fan gushed: “Cameron is a beauty on and off the court. Hurry back! ! Exciting to watch her energy on the court! !” WNBA luminaries Courtney Williams and Rae Burrell dropped supportive comments for Brink, while Steph Curry’s sister Sydel also weighed in on the snapshot.
As Brink continues to captivate fans beyond the hardwood, all eyes are on how she’ll mesh with the Sparks’ offense upon her return. Yet, there’s no doubt about her prowess on defense when she hits the floor this season.
Despite a shortened debut season, her teammates Sarah Ashlee Barker and Kelsey Plum are convinced that Brink’s defensive chops will make her a league mainstay defensively for the foreseeable future.
