No matter who wins more titles, in my heart there is only one ‘GOAT’ – and that will always be you” – Croatian female player Ana Maria Marković makes social networks explode with an emotional message to Cristiano Ronaldo
Social networks are “feverish” after the beautiful Croatian female player – Ana Maria Marković – suddenly posted an emotional message to Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese football star. In the post that went viral at a dizzying speed, she affirmed that no matter how many other legends are praised, in her heart, Ronaldo is still the only “GOAT” – the great irreplaceable symbol.
On her personal Instagram account, Ana wrote:
“I don’t care if someone wins more titles than you, because in my heart there is only one ‘GOAT’, and that will always be you, Cristiano. You have inspired a whole generation, done the unthinkable in countless matches. I am forever grateful to you. Forever your number 1 fan.”
Just a few hours after posting, Ana’s post received hundreds of thousands of likes and tens of thousands of comments from fans around the world. Many praised her sincerity, while others were moved by the affection the female player had for their idol.
Ana Maria Marković, born in 1999, currently plays for Swiss club Grasshopper Zürich and is a member of the Croatian women’s national team. She is not only known for her talent on the field but is also known as “the most beautiful female player in the world”. However, Ana has repeatedly affirmed that what she is most proud of is not her beauty, but her passion for football and her spirit of learning from Cristiano Ronaldo – whom she considers an ideal role model both on and off the field.

In previous interviews, Ana has shared that Ronaldo was the inspiration that helped her pursue professional football:
“When I was a child, I always watched Ronaldo play. He made me believe that with hard work and determination, you can achieve anything. He is not just a great player, he is a symbol of belief and will.”
Ana’s latest statement is said to stem from recent controversy when some fans compared Ronaldo to Messi after Lionel Messi won another major title with Inter Miami. In the face of the wave of discussion about “who is the real GOAT”, Ana chose to express her opinion publicly – and emotionally.
Ronaldo fans immediately expressed their gratitude, calling Ana “CR7’s loyal female warrior”, “the most genuine fan in the world”. Some comments even wrote: “She speaks for millions of Ronaldo lovers – the title does not say everything.”
As for Ronaldo, although there has been no direct response, many sources believe that he has “liked” Ana’s post from the assistant manager’s sub-account. CR7’s major fan pages quickly re-shared the post, making Ana Marković’s name “cover the world” once again.
What makes fans love Ana is not only her sweet words, but also the way she always maintains a respectful and sincere admiration for Ronaldo – quite different from the usual ostentation in the football world. Although they do not play at the same level, they have one thing in common: they believe in ambition, discipline and the spirit of never giving up.
At the end of the post, Ana left a red heart icon with the hashtag #GOAT #CR7 #ForeverMyInspiration, as an affirmation that, in the volatile world of football, her feelings for Ronaldo will never change.

Liverpool forward Diogo Jota died in a car accident earlier this month and has now been commemorated in a new mural

A special mural has been dedicated to Diogo Jota in the Anfield area after the Liverpool forward died in a car crash earlier this month. The 28-year-old was travelling across Spain in the early hours of Thursday, July 3, when he was killed in a road traffic accident alongside his brother Andre Silva.
Since the passing of the Portugal international nearly two weeks ago, the football world has come together to pay tribute to the brothers.
At Anfield, thousands of fans have laid scarves, t-shirts and other memorabilia in tribute to Jota, while players from across the world – including Kylian Mbappe and Reds forward Darwin Nunez – have dedicated goal celebrations to the former Wolverhampton Wanderers forward.
Now, street artist John Culshaw has composed a street mural in memory of Jota on the exterior of the Halfway House pub on Walton Road.
Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com about the latest fan-led tribute to Liverpool’s No.20, Culshaw said: “As Liverpool fans, we know how to deal with tragedy and show our appreciation to someone who has given us so much.
“I picked this image to paint because it shows Diogo sending love out to the fans and by immortalising him in our city, it shows that we are sending the love right back.
“Diogo has given us so many memories, it’s only right that he will remain our number 20 forever.”
Jota joined Liverpool from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2020 and went on to make 182 appearances for the Reds, scoring 65 times. During that time, he won the Premier League, the FA Cup and the League Cup twice.
