Everyone’s feeling bad for Caitlin Clark’s boyfriend this weekend.
Clark, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, was unable to compete in WNBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis. Clark was scheduled to compete in the 3-Point Contest and captain one of the teams for the All-Star Game. However, a lingering injury forced her to sit out both events.

“I’m so excited for Indy to host WNBA All-Star this weekend. … I know this will be the best All-Star yet,” Clark said in a statement. “I am incredibly sad and disappointed to say I can’t participate in the 3-Point Contest or the All-Star Game. I have to rest my body. I will still be at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for all the action and I’m looking forward to helping Sandy [Brondello] coach our team to a win.”
Clark was still around for the WNBA All-Star Game festivities, though. She was joined at the arena by her boyfriend, former college basketball player Connor McCaffery.
A video of the couple went viral.

“I aint got the heart to tell em,” another fan added.
“He’s definitely on borrowed time. Body language is quite awkward. Also how come their tunnel walks get more engagement than their highlights,” one fan added.
“A little bit awkward, I would say, but she might not PDA because of the cameras. It’s her relationship, not ours,” one fan added.
