What the hell has been up with the WNBA lately?
Atlanta Dream superstar Brittney Griner ended up making physical contact with a referee Wednesday, which led to her being ejected from the game. The incident went down during third quarter action between the Dream and Dallas Wings when Griner was hit with a foul after going for a rebound against Wings guard Haley Jones.
In response, Griner was livid and ended up shouting at official Angelica Suffren, who then dished Griner a technical foul. But things didn’t stop there.(RELATED: ‘Dumb As F*ck’: Sophie Cunningham Blasts Haters Who Think Caitlin Clark Isn’t Face Of WNBA)
While chirpin’ it up with the referee, Griner bumped into her, which caused the official to stumble and nearly fall over on the court. This caused the zebra to blow a second tech on Griner, leading to her being ejected from the game.
Griner exited the contest with four points and four rebounds on the stat sheet.

What’s amazing to me about the WNBA is the fact that all of these women openly demand NBA payment, but when they’re dealing with NBA situations (like angry fans or an unhappy referee), they go into complete sensitive mode and act like a bunch of … well … females.
And there’s nothing wrong with that. Females will be females. But when you’re demanding millions of dollars, you need to act professional.
