Sandler and Eminem were seen separately coming and going from Union Assembly on Tuesday, as Sandler was in town for a show at LCA.
Adam Sandler was in town on Tuesday, and it appears he met up with his pal Eminem while in downtown Detroit.

Sandler performed Tuesday night at Little Caesars Arena on his “You’re My Best Friend” tour, and videos posted to social media show the Sandman pulling up in front of Union Assembly prior to the show. Union Assembly, on Woodward Ave. between the Fox Theatre and the Fillmore Detroit, houses Eminem’s Mom’s Spaghetti along with the rapper’s merch store, the Trailer.
Other videos posted to social media show Eminem leaving Union Assembly later in the evening and signing autographs for fans gathered on the sidewalk. Is it a coincidence that both stars were seen in the same spot roughly a few hours apart? Probably not, as Eminem and Sandler have a relationship going back years, and Eminem recently appeared in Sandler’s summer sequel to “Happy Gilmore.”
At Sandler’s show, special guest Kevin James was seen wearing a Mom’s Spaghetti sweatshirt. And in an Instagram post on Wednesday, Sandler thanked Detroit for a “tremendous time,” and specifically shouted out Mom’s Spaghetti “for the great food.”
Sandler’s tour brings him to Columbus, Ohio’s Nationwide Arena on Wednesday night. Eminem, meanwhile, celebrates his 53rd birthday on Friday.
