Dana Evans Finds Her Moment as Aces Capture Third WNBA Title in Four Seasons
Las Vegas guard Dana Evans quietly became one of the unsung heroes of the 2025 WNBA season, helping the Las Vegas Aces capture their third championship in four years.
Evans appeared in all 44 regular-season games, averaging 6.6 points, 2.2 assists, and 1.1 rebounds in 17.7 minutes per game, providing consistent energy and reliable shooting off the bench. Her impact grew even larger in the postseason, where she delivered some of the most clutch performances of her career.
In Game 1 of the WNBA Finals, Evans exploded for 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting, including five three-pointers, becoming the first player in Finals history to record at least five threes and four steals in a single game. Her breakout performance helped Las Vegas secure an 89–86 win over the Phoenix Mercury — setting the tone for a dominant series that ended in a 4–0 sweep.

While A’ja Wilson continued to lead the charge with MVP-caliber performances — including 31 points in the decisive Game 4 — Evans’ spark from the second unit proved just as vital. Her ability to ignite scoring runs and stretch defenses gave the Aces a crucial edge throughout their title campaign.
Now a two-time WNBA champion, Evans enters the offseason as an unrestricted free agent, and speculation is already building around whether Las Vegas will move to retain her for another title run in 2026.

For Evans, this season wasn’t just about winning—it was about finding peace, confidence, and her place in championship history.
