Dylan Dreyer is officially closing one of the biggest chapters of her life — and the ending comes with both emotional weight and a steep financial hit. The “Today” show meteorologist and her estranged husband, Brian Fichera, have finally sold their longtime Manhattan apartment for $1.8 million, nearly $500,000 less than what they paid for it nine years ago.
The couple first listed the condo for $2.5 million nearly a year ago, months before announcing their separation. The timing raised quiet questions at the time, though Dreyer insisted their split was amicable and that the two remained “the closest of friends” as they continued raising their three boys: Calvin, Oliver, and Rusty.
As the months passed, the apartment’s journey mirrored the transitions in their personal lives. The listing was removed, reintroduced, and eventually marked down nearly half a million dollars before a buyer finally emerged. Selling it for $1.8 million officially closes the real estate chapter of their marriage — but it wasn’t an easy farewell.

The 1,491-square-foot Battery Park City condo had been the family’s home base since 2016, the year the couple welcomed their first son. With floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lush greenery of the neighborhood and a bright, modern layout, it had been the backdrop for birthdays, holidays, and countless memories. The couple even customized the space to keep up with their growing family, including a now-famous three-story bunk bed built to fit all three boys.
In recent months, Dreyer has spoken openly about the bittersweet shift in her life. After years of squeezing family life into a Manhattan apartment, she revealed that she is leaving the city behind and relocating to the suburbs — a move similar to those made by her “Today” colleagues Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager. She has shared glimpses of her new home on Instagram, but not its location, choosing to protect her sons’ privacy.
Reflecting on the move, Dreyer posted a series of emotional images showing her boys’ room as it evolved over the years. “This room holds a lot of memories and I thank God every day for each and every one of them,” she wrote, adding the touching quote, “A house is made of walls and beams; a home is built of love and dreams.”

Despite their separation, Dreyer and Fichera have continued spending time together — even celebrating her 44th birthday with their sons at their beach house in Point Lookout, a property that Fichera solely owns.
With the sale now complete, Dreyer steps firmly into a new phase of life: one built on co-parenting, resilience, and a quieter, more grounded future outside the city she once called home.
