Chelsea Gray’s future with the Las Vegas Aces
Chelsea Gray remains a key part of the Las Vegas Aces lineup and had signed a contract extension ahead of the 2024 WNBA season to stay with the team through 2025. The three-time WNBA champion plays a significant role in settling and steadying the team and her presence helps the other players flourish in their respective roles, enhancing the team’s overall output.
In the 2024 season, Gray came back from a foot injury she suffered during the 2023 WNBA Finals and had an immediate impact on the team. Chelsea Gray concluded the regular season with 8.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.3 steals in 26.0 minutes per game. She shot 40.8% from the field and 33.8% from beyond the arc as the Aces clinched the fourth seed in the WNBA standings with a 27-13 record.
The point guard also recorded 10.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 1.0 blocks in the postseason as the Aces failed to complete their three-peat run after being eliminated by the New York Liberty in the semifinals.
