
STANFORD All-American forward Cameron Brink is league-bound, and one of the NBA’s biggest stars can’t wait to watch her play at the next level.
The 6-foot-4 three-time Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year revealed she is foregoing her fifth year of eligibility to enter the WNBA draft, and NBA icon Steph Curry proclaims, “job well done.”

Brink is a senior at Stanford and had another year to stay in school if she elected to due to the COVID-19 rule allowing players an extra season to play.
However, she posted a heartfelt announcement on her social media account detailing her decision to enter the WNBA draft on Monday.
“I am excited to announce that I will be declaring for the 2024 WNBA Draft,” Brink wrote.
The Pac-12 Player of the Year also expressed that she has “unfinished business” and is still focused on winning a National Championship, as March Madness kicks off on March 21.

“Although I’m excited for that next chapter,” Brink said.
“We still have unfinished business and so much to accomplish in my final season at Stanford.”
Brink has had four decorated seasons while playing under NCAA legend and Stanford head coach Tara VanDerveer.
“My four years at Stanford have been nothing short of life changing,” she wrote.

Brink is a three-time All-American and is currently averaging career highs of 17.8 points, 11.9 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game.

In her time at the school, Brink has helped lead Stanford to a National Championship in her freshman season in 2021 and a Final Four run in 2022.
Her announcement was met with support from her coach, VanDerveer, who released a statement highlighting that Brink “has had an exceptional college career and fully embraced what it means to be a Stanford student-athlete during her time on The Farm.”
Brink’s godbrother, Golden State Warriors legend Curry, also sent her a special shoutout video that he shared online.
“Congratulations, huge milestone and accomplishment Preparing yourself for the WNBA draft,” Curry said in the video.
“I know you still have some unfished business in the NCAA tournament, but take a moment to pat yourself on the back, and job well done to get to this point… League her!”
Brink is expected to be among the top three selections in the WNBA draft.
