The 2025 WNBA semi-finals continue to get exciting, and as the series progresses, the Las Vegas Aces are once again ready to host the Indiana Fever in Game 2 on Tuesday, September 23. The best-of-five series began with the Fever pulling off a stunning 89-73 win over the upper-seeded Aces. Kelsey Mitchell’s game-leading performance of 34 points, one rebound and three assists helped the side maintain thorough dominance over the rivals.
Apart from her, Natasha Howard and Aliyah Boston grabbed 11 rebounds each, while Odyssey Sims added 17 points to keep the hosts at bay. On the other hand, the Aces, who despite having home-court advantage failed to impress with their offense. Jackie Young was the leading scorer with 19 points, while four-time MVP, A’ja Wilson was limited to 16 points.
After finishing the regular season with a red-hot 16-game winning streak and making it to their seventh-consecutive semifinals, the Aces wouldn’t want to miss out on the opportunity of advancing to the finals by taking down the lower-seeded Fever. They would aim to avoid a 2-0 hole at home at any cost. One can expect a better strategy powered by a stronger gameplay by A’ja Wilson and Co. in Game 2.
