In an emotionally charged moment just 20 minutes ago, actor and musician Jaden Smith took to social media, trembling and in tears, to confirm the heartbreaking news: his father, Hollywood legend Will Smith, has passed away.
“I can’t believe I’m writing this,” Jaden posted. “Dad… you were my hero, my protector, my inspiration. I love you forever. Rest easy.”
According to early reports, Will Smith — beloved actor, Grammy-winning rapper, and global icon — was found unresponsive at his home in Calabasas early this morning. Emergency responders arrived within minutes, but he was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
