Las Vegas Aces are not just playing for wins—they are playing to carve a legacy. “Time isn’t really the gauge of the championship, it’s really the number.
When you’re winning three, four, five championships, then you gotta be in the conversation of what a legacy looks like; that’s the conversation that we are striving to be in and we will be in that conversation one day,” said Aces President Nikki Fargas, laying bare the team’s ultimate goal: to be remembered among the WNBA’s all-time greats.
The journey began in 2018 when the franchise relocated from San Antonio to Las Vegas, bringing with it high hopes and an ambitious vision. From the very beginning, the Aces signaled they were a team to watch. Since 2019, they have reached the semifinals every single season,
an achievement that speaks to consistent excellence and unwavering determination. Their three trips to the Finals have been battles that tested their resilience, but also moments that showed the team’s growing dominance.
The pinnacle of their success came in 2022 and 2023 when the Aces captured back-to-back WNBA championships. In doing so, they joined the ranks of legends,
becoming only the third team in over two decades—alongside the Houston Comets and LA Sparks—to achieve consecutive titles. The feat cemented their place in league history, and yet, for the team, it is only a stepping stone.

While a three-peat remained just out of reach, the Aces are far from finished. Every practice, every game, every strategic move is aimed at building something bigger than a single season’s glory. The vision is clear: sustained dominance, repeated success, and a legacy that will be remembered long after the final buzzer sounds. With a roster full of talent, a front office driven by ambition, and a fanbase that refuses to settle for anything less than greatness, the Aces are determined to write their story in bold letters.

For Las Vegas, this is more than basketball.
It’s a declaration, a mission, and a statement to the WNBA and its fans: the Aces are here to stay, and they are here to define what it means to be legendary. Every championship, every clutch performance, every record broken brings them one step closer to that ultimate goal—a legacy that will echo through the halls of WNBA history for years to come.
