Lol it’s a possibility she might go back in the future or something she really didn’t say goodbye so leave that up for interpretation if you will. Also, y’all have 4 championships and Stewie gave ya 2! She’s done everything and left a legacy at Seattle you really can’t ask for more. She went there and won championships to an already amazing franchise that was well off. Alot of other franchises can’t say that they have 4 championships.
Besides y’all always get a generational player to go to Seattle like Lauren Jackson, Sue Bird, Breanna Stewart, Jewell Lloyd with the potential of getting another generational player like Paige Bueckers or Caitlin Clark or Angel Reese or Hailey Van Lith the list goes on. Every decade y’all get a generational player.
Us New York fans have been waiting for a championship for so many years and now it’s here. Any New York basketball team haven’t won a championship since 1973 so 50 years was the last time a championship have been brought to NYC. This is the first time that we have an opportunity like this and to win a championship. The Liberty is one of the original franchises that haven’t won a championship yet in all of the league’s 26 years of its entirety. We’re happy and grateful to have Stewie, Sloot, Jones, Ionescu, Laney etc.
Y’all still have Jewell Lloyd, y’all acquired Kia Nurse, Sami Whitcomb, still got Ezi Magbegor and still have Tina Charles with the potential to add more talent either through free agency or the upcoming draft. There’s Lou Lopez Senechal, Elizabeth Kitley, Jacy Sheldon, Charisma Osborne, Grace Berger, Ashley Joens, Dorka Juhasz, Zia Cooke, Leigha Brown etc. There’s still hope for Seattle and there’s still optimism for them. So y’all can still add talent through free agency and the draft.
