Jenna Bush Hager Became The Third Wheel On ‘Today’ While Chelsea Handler Was “Flirting” With ‘365 Days’ Hunk Michele Morrone: “Do You Want Me To Leave?”
Chelsea Handler shocked even Jenna Bush Hager when she decided to shoot her shot with Italian actor Michele Morrone on Today With Jenna & Friends.
Always known for pushing the envelope, Handler joined Bush Hager as a guest host on Friday’s (Dec. 5) broadcast, where she dished on her “sexy” dog and the time rapper Wiz Khalifa got everyone at her dinner party “so high” someone walked into a glass door. And when she and Bush Hager sat down with Morrone to discuss his newly released film, The Housemaid, Handler posed some “innocent” questions that sounded a lot like she was flirting with the actor.
Morrone had shared that, in addition to playing a groundskeeper in the movie, he once worked as a landscaper in real life.
“A lot of years ago, I was working as a gardener,” he told Bush Hager and Handler.
“I actually need some landscaping done,” Handler responded. “Are you still doing that at all?”
As Morrone worked up a response, Bush Hager appeared shocked as she turned to Handler and asked, “Oh wow. Do you want me to leave?”
But Handler played innocent as she denied flirting with the actor. “No, I’m just asking a general question, totally innocent,” she maintained. “This is morning [television] so I’m not flirting. Nothing like that’s happening.”Photo: NBC
Morrone told Handler that his usual rate as a gardener is around “$15 to $20,” adding, “Yeah, I’m cheap.”
“Oh wow, in that case she’s got ya,” Bush Hager responded.
And Handler’s flirting did not stop there. She later asked Morrone about why he posts “a lot of topless photos” on social media, pointing to videos of him playing the piano and riding a horse without a shirt on.
“That’s something you have in common,” Bush Hager told Handler, before later telling Morrone, “She likes to ski topless,” referring to an Instagram post Handler made where she went down a ski slope in her bikini.
Morrone did not seem particularly interested in joining Handler for that. “I’ve never skied in my life and I don’t think I will ever do it topless, otherwise. I think I will freeze,” he said.
Bush Hager tried to act as a wing-man by suggesting Handler offer him some skiing lessons. “I don’t like to deal with beginners but I would be happy to provide some lessons and then we can meet up later,” Handler slyly told the actor.
