Jenna Bush Hager has a solid Halloween costume lined up!

During the Friday, Oct. 3 episode of Today with Jenna & Friends, she and co-host Justin Sylvester were discussing Kim Kardashian’s recent pixie look when Sylvester brought up side-by-side photos of Hager and her mom, former First Lady Laura Bush.

In one snap, Bush Hager is seen wearing a pixie cut wig that looks similar to Bush’s signature style.

“If you are not your mom for Halloween,” Sylvester says in reaction to the photos. “… If you are not your mom or or the maid from The Brady Bunch.”

He jokingly adds: “It can go one of two ways. You’re going Alice or you’re going Laura.”

Hager, 43, explains that the wig was her son’s.

“By the way, that was my son Sean’s wig,” she explains. “I just borrowed my son’s wig, I gave it back to him and he dressed up as my cat for Halloween. In that same wig.”

Bush Hager previously sported the wig on a March 2024 episode of Today. After winning a playful game against her former co-host Hoda Kotb, she was gifted a Lisa Rinna-inspired wig, approved by the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star.

“Do I look like my mom? I kind of look like my mom!” Hager asked Kotb, 61, while wearing the retro hairstyle.

“You know what you look like, someone from the ’60s with cigarette pants, smoking a cigarette,” Kotb joked, adding the look was “not bad.”

Earlier this year, Bush Hager underwent a major hair transformation on air.

On the June 16, episode of Today with Jenna & Friends, she was joined by celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan and The White Lotus actress Leslie Bibb, who co-hosted the episode, so she could get a bob haircut.

“When I was here back in March, Jenna vowed to get on board with the bob, and today is the day,” Bibb told the audience.

Before sitting in the hairstylist’s chair, Bush Hager gave the audience members some background on McMillan, noting that his haircut on Bibb for The White Lotus inspired several viewers of the show to also cut their hair.

“I didn’t expect it [to go viral] because it was just a grow-out of a short haircut,” McMillan, who is known for creating The Rachel haircut on Friends, told Bush Hager. “The intention wasn’t to give her a bob, it was to grow her out into a bob.”

The stylist told Bush Hager that “bobs are like spring cleaning. There are sometimes bad damage, bad layers, it evens it up and creates a nice strong perimeter.”

Speaking with Today.com ahead of the cut, McMillan drew similarities between Bush Hager and Aniston’s face shapes.

“Jenna has a lot of face from here to here,” he said, gesturing to the jawline, “and a small forehead, very similar to Jennifer Aniston’s face shape.”

McMillian also explained the many ways that the bob style can be worn. “You can slick it behind your ears … you can wear it natural, you can wear it wavy,” he told the outlet.
