Karoline Leavitt turned heads in a pink dress as she gave a speech at a vigil for Charlie Kirk in Washington, D.C., on Sunday. However, her ensemble was more notable for the symbolic accessory that once again returned to her wardrobe.
The White House Press Secretary is known for her headline-making statements at press briefings, as well as her bold fashion choices.

And though her favorite accessory, a cross necklace, has been trolled by comedians and South Park, forcing her to sometimes leave it off and change things up, it has once again made a return, making a bold statement about faith as she praised Kirk.

As she took to the stage at the Kennedy Center to talk about Kirk, Leavitt opted for a demure look overall.

Leavitt’s dress was a muted pink shade, featuring a modest neckline, elbow-length sleeves and a knee-length skirt.
She kept her blonde locks straight down, and wore her silver cross necklace prominently displayed around her neck.
During her tribute to Kirk, Leavitt touched on her connedtion to him, after previously sharing he was one of the first people to throw support behind her when she ran for Congress at 23 years old.
“I would not be in this position if not for the heroic efforts of Chrlie Kirk, who turned the political tide among young people oin this country and helped usher in President Trump’s historic victory on November 5, 2024,” she said.
Fans of Leavitt praised her ensemble on social media as they reflected on her speech.
“Who else thinks Karoline Leavitt looks absolutely stunning at the Kennedy Center today?” one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
“Always stunning!” another said.
“Absolutely agree-she looks spot on tonight at the Kennedy Center. Elegant, confident, and carries herself with that presence. Who else thinks she’s stealing the show?” a third added.
“She looks absolutely stunning wherever she is and whatever she’s wearing,” a fourth commented. “Beautiful inside and out.”

Kirk was shot and killed during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University
The prayer vigil featured Trump administration officials, Republican lawmakers and other supporters as they paid tribute to Kirk, a conservative pundit who is credited with bringing more youth voters out to the polls, and was a cofounder of Turning Point USA.
Kirk was also known for his Prove Me Wrong debates and his close relationship to the Trump family.

Among the speakers at the event who paid tribute to Kirk were House Speaker Mike Johnson, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, Leavitt, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr, and Kari Lake.
