Recently, a private source from Closer Weekly (UK) revealed that Princess Kate called her brother-in-law, Prince Harry, late at night as a kind gesture in an effort to mend the Duke of Sussex’s broken relationship with the British Royal Family.

Also according to the source, throughout the family turmoil, the relationship between Kate and Harry has not changed.
“Kate has reached out to Harry to tell him to keep his head up and not worry too much about the temporary setbacks. She feels sorry for him at the moment. Watching him go through all the setbacks has been difficult and heartbreaking for her, especially with his trial taking place so close to home,” the source said.
While Kate is said to be opening her arms, that doesn’t mean William is ready to do the same, according to Closer Weekly’s source. “This is obviously an extremely sensitive and delicate situation between many other senior members of the Royal Family, especially with Prince William. He has been very clear that he is not ready to sit down with Harry to negotiate peace or any kind of open dialogue on this issue,” the source explained.

“But Kate wants to stay in touch and pave the way for a long-term connection with the whole family, including William,” the source added, stressing that Kate wants Harry to know that there are still people who care about him.
Representatives of the Duke of Sussex and Kensington Palace did not comment on the Closer Weekly article.

Kate and Harry were once famously close sisters-in-law at public events.

Previously, a royal insider told OK! magazine that Harry and Meghan wanted to reconcile with their brother and his wife. They even took concrete action. The source said that the Sussexes are offering to rent an apartment at Kensington Palace and decorate the interior themselves.
“He hopes that will please William and show that they are serious about getting back together,” the source said, noting that Harry is also concerned about becoming a “prisoner of the palace”.
However, royal experts believe that a reconciliation between the sons of King Charles and Princess Diana is unlikely to happen soon.
According to royal expert Gareth Russell, Prince Harry is still expecting to receive an apology from his family, which he believes he deserves after many tensions and conflicts between the couple and the British Royal Family.
Regarding whether Harry and Meghan will be invited to attend the first anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s death in September, the expert said: “I think we will know soon. But I would be very surprised if they agreed and were there”.
If the couple appeared at the memorial service, all the media attention would definitely be on the couple. This is something that should not happen on a special day for the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Earlier in August, Harry was stripped of his royal title “His Royal Highness” on the Royal Family website. King Charles also did not invite his youngest son and his wife to attend a family gathering to remember Queen Elizabeth II on the first anniversary of her death.
In June, the Duke of Sussex visited London to testify against the publisher of the Mirror in a lawsuit against the newspaper’s reporters for phone hacking. King Charles III’s youngest son is said to have only stayed in the country for a short time and did not meet his father or brother William.
In recent months, Harry and Meghan have suffered a series of losses, including parting ways with Spotify and having the title “His Royal Highness” removed from their profile on the Royal Family website. Harry’s relationship with the family has also been strained to the point of tension after the appearance of the Spare memoir. Late last year, the couple also released a documentary detailing their decision to step back from the Royal Family.
