Donald Trump Jr.‘s former fiancee, Kimberly Guilfoyle, has hit the ground running after touching down in her new home of Greece—revealing to Greek President Konstantinos Tasoulas that she is already on the lookout for a “new husband.”
Guilfoyle, 56, who was appointed as the U.S. ambassador to Greece by her former future father in law, President Donald Trump, soon after her split from his son, touched down in Athens at the start of the month to commence that role, having spent some time in Washington, DC, coming to grips with her new position.
Her job kicked off in earnest Nov. 4, when she appeared at the official Ceremony of the Presentation of Credentials at the Presidential Palace in Athens, where she met with Tasoulas and opened up to him about her past experiences in the European country.
Guilfoyle explained that her previous trips to Greece took place more than 20 years ago, when she was still married to her first husband, Gavin Newsom, who is now governor of California.
“I actually covered the Olympic Games in 2004 for ABC News,” she told the Greek president, according to People. “I also had a honeymoon here in 2004. Fabulous honeymoon but…”
Tasoulas then chimed in: “Honeymoon was fabulous, but the marriage…?” prompting Guilfoyle to joke: “We’ll work on getting a new husband!”
Guilfoyle and Newsom, who met while they were both working in San Francisco, officially split the same year that their ill-fated honeymoon took place—although their divorce was not finalized until 2006.
That same year, she wed her second husband, Eric Villency, with whom she shares a son, Roman, who is now 19.
However, that second marriage lasted just three years before it ended in divorce.
Then, in 2018, Guilfoyle went public with her romance with Donald Jr., sharing the news of their relationship just a few months after he filed for divorce from his first wife, Vanessa Trump.
Guilfoyle and Donald Jr. were together for six years—during which time they purchased a sprawling $10 million mansion in Jupiter, FL, just a short distance from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.
However, in late 2024, it was revealed that the couple had split, when reports began to surface that Donald Jr. had already moved on with Florida socialite Bettina Anderson.
Intriguingly, news of Donald Jr.’s alleged new romance emerged at around the same time that Guilfoyle was picked for her international role in his father’s administration.
In the wake of the announcement, Donald Jr. shared a message of support for Guilfoyle, voicing his pride at her appointment—although he neglected to share any details about the status of their relationship.
“I am so proud of Kimberly,” he wrote on X. “She loves America and she always has wanted to serve the country as an Ambassador. She will be an amazing leader for America First.”
Should Guilfoyle spend an entire term as ambassador to Greece, it’s likely that she will serve for around three years, up until the end of President Trump’s current term.
During that time, she will reside in the official ambassadorial residence in Athens, a property that is more commonly known as Jefferson House.
The property is designed to serve both as a private dwelling and as an event space, where Guilfoyle will be able to host official functions. It includes several formal reception rooms, dining areas, and meeting spaces, all of which have been designed to blend Greek and American traditions.
It is currently unclear what Guilfoyle and her former fiance plan to do with their Jupiter mansion in the wake of their split, however property records indicate that the dwelling is still registered under both of their names.
The home boasts six bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. It sits on a plum 1.18-acre waterfront lot.
According to the original listing, the home underwent a “massive update” before it was purchased by the couple, who both took on very active roles in the president’s reelection campaign.
Located in the upscale neighborhood of Admirals Cove, the home is near a golf course and a marina.
The property is also a 30-minute drive from Mar-a-Lago, which became Trump’s permanent residence after he left the White House following the 2020 election, which he lost to Joe Biden.
Many in the Trump family moved to the Sunshine State when his first presidency came to an end. Elder daughter Ivanka Trump moved to Miami, where she spent several years living in a luxury apartment with her husband, Jared Kushner, and their three children while the family renovated an enormous megamansion on Indian Creek Island.
The family has since moved into their enormous abode, which is located in the same exclusive community as Tom Brady‘s and Jeff Bezos‘ homes.
Younger daughter Tiffany now resides in West Palm Beach with her husband, Michael Boulos, while her half-brother Eric and his wife, Lara, own a home in Jupiter just a few minutes’ drive from Donald Jr. and Guilfoyle.
