Los Angeles Sparks player Rae Burrell continues to make waves despite being sidelined in the WNBA due to injury.
Remarkably, she wasn’t letting any setback stop her from making the most of life as she celebrated her special day.
In a post on her Instagram Stories, the University of Tennessee alum shared a glimpse of her simple birthday celebration with friends.
Surrounded by her loved ones, she appeared joyful and full of excitement as she marked the meaningful occasion in style.
To commemorate the moment, she went for a daring birthday look that highlighted her features.
Rae Burrell’s outfit featured a mix of sexy and trendy as she opted for a red two-piece bikini set styled with a denim jacket and skimpy denim shorts that showed off her long legs.
The WNBA player flexed her outfit in the mirror with the background song of Rihanna’s “Cheers (Drink to That).”
In a separate video, she mentioned that it was an early celebration of her birthday, which is on June 21.
The six-foot-two forward officially joined the league after being selected 9th overall in the 2022 WNBA draft.
Unfortunately, Burrell was sidelined for six to eight weeks due to a right leg injury sustained during the second half of the Sparks’ season opener against the Golden State Valkyries.

The injury occurred after an awkward collision with Valkyries’ Carla Leite. At the time, she remained down on the court for several minutes before being carried off the court.
Despite this, she remained visible at Sparks games, showing strong support for her team.
