A phenomenal second-half comeback saw the Las Vegas Aces defeat the New York Liberty 70-69 and win their second consecutive WNBA title. As the Aces got draped in gold, their guard, Kelsey Plum, was captured in a special moment with a man who bore a striking resemblance to NBA superstar Devin Booker, causing a social media frenzy.
Despite various Twitter accounts speculating about Booker and Plum’s affectionate moment, it was, in fact, New York Giants star and former Pro-Bowl tight end Darren Waller who was pictured with Kelsey Plum. The two have been happily married since their union in March of this year.
Although the couple has kept the details of their relationship’s beginning and how they met under wraps, it’s worth noting that they have been seen at some common events in the past two years. Notably, the New York Giants tight end has been a regular attendee at his now-wife’s WNBA games since 2021.
The wild rumor that suggested it was Booker kissing Plum can now be dispelled, as it was indeed her loving husband who was seen sharing the affectionate moment with his wife.

Devin Booker has been single since his split with Kendall Jenner
Devin Booker has been single since his split with Kendall Jenner in October 2022. While Kendall has moved on to a new relationship with rapper Bad Bunny, Booker seems to have taken a break from dating to concentrate on his NBA career.

Many fans might have assumed that he had found a new partner in Kelsey Plum due to the social media posts. However, that’s not the case.
Devin and Kendall were initially spotted together on a road trip in April 2020. Subsequently, they were frequently seen on various outings. Despite an initial source suggestion that their relationship was a “fun hookup,” they made their relationship Instagram official on Valentine’s Day in 2021, marking their first anniversary in June 2021.
Their relationship experienced a series of ups and downs before they ultimately decided to part ways in October 2022. “Both have incredibly busy schedules right now with their careers and they’ve decided to make that a priority,” a source told PEOPLE. “They have a lot of love and respect for each other and wish only the best.”
While Booker appears to be single at the moment, he is undoubtedly fully focused on the upcoming NBA season. It will be intriguing to see what the future holds for the talented guard and the Phoenix Suns.
