The longest Mega Millions winless streak continued Friday night as no ticket matched all six numbers, ballooning the grand prize to a whopping $900 million.
The winning numbers drawn for the $843 million jackpot were 16, 21, 23, 48, 70 with the Mega ball 5.
Not a single ticket matched all five white balls either, which would have resulted in a multi-million-dollar prize. The jackpot carried a cash option of $391.7 million had a ticketholder won the grand prize.

The $900 million grand prize is the largest pot since the game’s historic revamp in April, which increased ticket prices from $2 to $5 and created larger prizes for all non-jackpot tier winners.
The odds of winning the top prize in the new format are 1 in 290,472,336.
Tuesday’s drawing will be 39th consecutive drawing since the Mega Millions jackpot was won.

An anonymous ticket holder won the $348 million jackpot on June 27 in Burgess, Virginia.
That winner said they intend to purchase a new, zero-radius riding lawn mower.
The ticket holder chose to take the one-time $155.6 million cash option instead of the $348 million prize, which would’ve been paid out over 30 years.
