Megyn Kelly has voiced her prediction that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are on borrowed time before they lose their Royal titles.
The idea of a Royal being stripped of their titles was unthinkable until Prince Andrew, formerly known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, lost his due to recent scandals. Now, critics and Royal experts speculate that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could be next in line.
Kelly, who is notorious for her criticism of Meghan and Harry, has now suggested that she believes they will meet the same fate as his uncle. She stated, “King William, in whatever years it takes after he ascends, I think he’s going to take away their royal titles, and that should happen ASAP.”
In an interview with the Daily Mail, she emphasized that the couple is more of a brand than bloodline royals. She added, “These two are all about themselves. I think it’s a matter of time before they lose their titles, and they definitely have lost support here in the United States.”
She also mentioned their reception at the recent World Series game, saying, “You saw them get booed at the game the other day. That’s real.”
These comments aren’t far-fetched, as there has been ongoing speculation that Harry and Meghan’s quest for independence from the Royal family could result in them losing their titles completely.
They previously agreed to abandon the HRH – His or Her Royal Highness – designation when they withdrew from their Royal responsibilities in 2020.
Nevertheless, they have continued to be recognized as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, while their offspring, Archie and Lilibet, were officially acknowledged as Prince and Princess after King Charles’s coronation.
