Hollywood star Whoopi Goldberg may have since been awarded ‘The Key to Hell’ by the Diablo 4 team, but she wasn’t happy that the game wasn’t on Mac.

And, while Blizzard’s ARPG is still not on Apple machines outside of Diablo Immortal, Path of Exile 2’s Creative Director, Jonathan Rogers, can at least confirm Grinding Gear Games’ rival title is planning to be found there eventually.
Speaking as part of a press briefing ahead of the reveal of Path of Exile 2’s Last of the Druids expansion, Rogers was asked if the macOS port is still being worked on.
Yes, Path of Exile 2 is still slated for Mac

“We are [working on the Mac version],” Rogers explained. “It is still being worked on in the background.”
“It’s not like a hugely high-priority thing, but we do have a developer on it. Basically, the plan is still to have that by the time we get into full release, so it’s not exactly around the corner, but hopefully not too much longer.”
That’ll be good news for anyone waiting for the sequel to make the jump from Windows and consoles, especially given that the original Path of Exile still has a strong following on Mac, but don’t expect it anytime soon.
