New Jersey Shaken: Mikie Sherrill – Dirty Hands, Empty Promises, and Power-Gathering Ambitions
LAWRENCEVILLE, New Jersey – Last week’s gubernatorial debate turned into a public denunciation when Democratic candidate Mikie Sherrill was “unmasked” in public. From voting for a resolution supporting Charlie Kirk and then turning around just hours later to attack him, Sherrill was accused of not standing up straight, showing that “she doesn’t know what courage is.”
Against Republican opponent Jack Ciattarelli, Sherrill only knew how to dodge and throw “cheap shots” and outright lies. When asked directly about raising sales, income, or property taxes, Sherrill refused to commit – leaving the door wide open for tax increases, “like they will certainly happen under Governor Phil Murphy,” observers warned.

Her “rate freeze” plan for electricity was called “unworkable” by Murphy himself, while the green mandates she supported sent bills soaring. Government spending under her aegis exploded from $35 billion to $59 billion, and she “pushed the buttons” on every one without protest.
The final blow: fraud and lack of transparency. Sherrill has always called for “the most transparent government ever,” but her and her husband’s personal and financial records remain hidden. If there’s nothing to hide, why not make them public?
