Prince Harry’s UK visit was marred by transportation disruptions yesterday, as he was delayed for 45 minutes due to ongoing Tube strikes. Without the luxury of a police escort—since he is no longer a working royal—Harry found himself stuck in clogged roads while being driven to his next engagement.

Despite the delay, Harry spent a productive three hours at the Community Recording Studio youth project in Nottingham, where he revealed a £1.1million personal donation to BBC Children in Need. While there, he engaged with fans, posing for selfies and humorously offering to tie a man’s shoelaces. Reflecting on his long history with the area, Harry expressed his deep respect and commitment to Nottingham, reminiscing about his previous visits and the jerk chicken he often enjoyed on the way back.
Meanwhile, Harry’s brother, Prince William, was 115 miles away in Lambeth, South London, visiting a homeless charity project he helps fund. Both brothers are currently carrying out separate engagements, with William focusing on supporting the homeless and Harry continuing his charitable efforts with youth projects.

As for Harry’s relationship with their father, King Charles, who is returning from Balmoral this week, it remains uncertain if a meeting will take place. Harry has expressed a willingness to reconcile with his father, who is battling cancer, but given his history of public criticism of the Royal Family, any potential meeting is bound to stir further speculation.

With Harry continuing his outspoken approach, both public and personal, King Charles must tread carefully as his son continues to look for material for his controversial memoir, Spare.
