Stassi Schroeder, known for her role on Vanderpump Rules, has revealed the unexpected source of her frustration with Meghan Markle — a missing PR box from Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever. On her podcast, Straight Up With Stassi, the reality star vented about being excluded from the influencer gifting list, a move she felt was a personal snub, especially considering her long-standing support of Meghan through years of public criticism.
Stassi admitted to feeling “furious” after Meghan’s team failed to send her a promotional package, despite her vocal defense of the Duchess in the past. She claimed she had even taken the initiative to have her PR reach out to Meghan’s team, but when the PR boxes went out, Stassi was left off the list. In a dramatic outburst, she declared to her listeners that she would unfollow Meghan on Instagram and stop discussing her, marking a decisive end to her support.
The frustration intensified for Stassi because several influencers who have openly criticized Meghan received the PR packages, leaving her feeling betrayed. Her annoyance was further compounded by what she perceived as Meghan’s elitist attitude towards her reality TV background. Stassi suggested that Meghan viewed her as “a lowly reality person” and criticized the Duchess for being out of touch with modern social media trends.
The comparison to Blake Lively, another figure she called a “control freak,” revealed the depth of Stassi’s dissatisfaction with Meghan’s approach to relationships and public image.
Stassi is not the first former supporter to fall out with Meghan. In 2020, stylist Jessica Mulroney, once a close friend of the Duchess, reportedly distanced herself after a public social media incident. Similarly, Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh voiced her disappointment over being “snubbed” by Meghan following her relationship with Prince Harry. Despite these breakups, Meghan still maintains close relationships with other high-profile figures, such as actresses Mindy Kaling and Chrissy Teigen, who both appeared on Meghan’s Netflix cooking show.
For Stassi, however, the PR box mishap marks the end of her era of Meghan fandom. With her frustration aired publicly, it seems the reality star has moved on from her past support of the Duchess.
