Munoz posted an 8.18 ERA in his nine MLB appearances in 2025 for St. Louis, all in relief. Munoz had a 3.28 ERA and 76 strikeouts in 38 relief appearances for Triple-A Memphis.
What to know about the 25-year-old Munoz:
Munoz’s twin brother, Rolddy, pitched in 2025 for the Atlanta Braves
Roddery and Rolddy were born April 14, 2000, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Rolddy debuted for Atlanta in September, and struck out five in three relief appearances.
Rolddy’s ERA skyrocketed to 12.27 when he allowed a Cal Raleigh home run in the 9th inning of an 18-2 loss to Seattle.
Roddery has allowed 30 home runs in his 93 2/3 MLB innings
Roddery Munoz’s only appearance against the Reds came in the Marlins’ 10-3 loss to Cincinnati in Aug. 2024.

Munoz started the game, but lasted just 3 2/3 innings, allowing six runs (four earned) and seven hits, walking three and striking out two.
Munoz allowed home runs to the Reds’ Elly De La Cruz and Noelvi Marte.
Munoz was teammates in Memphis with Cincinnati native Drew Rom
Rom, a former Highlands High School standout, made four starts for Memphis in 2025.
Munoz pitched in relief in three of Rom’s four starts, and twice earned relief wins in Rom starts.
Ryan Vilade, traded Nov. 3 by the Reds to the Rays, also was a Memphis teammate of Rom and Munoz.
