On October 14, 2025, the Monaco royal family shared the joyous news that Pierre Casiraghi and his wife, Beatrice Borromeo, had welcomed their third child and first daughter. The couple, who are already parents to two sons, Stefano, 8, and Francesco, 7, announced the arrival of their baby girl on Instagram Stories. Born on October 4, the newborn has been named Bianca Caroline Marta, with each name holding special familial significance.

Bianca, a name of Italian origin meaning “white” or “fair,” reflects Beatrice’s Italian heritage. The choice of her middle names further honors her family ties. The name Caroline is a tribute to Pierre’s mother, Princess Caroline of Monaco, while Marta is thought to honor Beatrice’s late maternal grandmother, Marta Marzotto, a renowned Italian fashion designer and socialite.

This new addition to the family holds an important place in Monaco’s royal lineage, as Bianca is now eleventh in line to the Monegasque throne. Her birth also makes Princess Caroline, Pierre’s mother, a grandmother once again at the age of 68.

Pierre, 38, and Beatrice, 40, married in a glamorous ceremony at the Prince’s Palace of Monaco in July 2015, and they recently celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary. While Pierre and Beatrice lead a largely private life, they occasionally make appearances at royal events in Monaco, such as the Monaco National Day celebrations and various charity galas. The birth of Bianca marks a joyful moment for the family, expanding the legacy of Princess Grace’s grandchildren and further solidifying the close-knit ties within Monaco’s royal circles.
