The King has visited Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue and Greater Manchester Police Headquarters to show solidarity with the Jewish community and meet emergency services.

The King travelled to Manchester to show his continued support to the Jewish Community and those impacted by the attack at Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue on 2nd October.


During the visit, His Majesty met members of the community, including some of those who were present during the October 2nd attack.

At Greater Manchester Police Headquarters, The King met representatives from the Greater Manchester Police Force, Ambulance Service, and Fire and Rescue Service to acknowledge their efforts in supporting the local community.

Inside the Headquarters, The King heard from staff representing Great Manchester’s Police, Fire and Rescue, and Ambulance services about their roles responding to recent events and protecting people in the area.
Also present at the Police HQ were local faith leaders. His Majesty had the opportunity to speak to the faith leaders about community relations.
