Strictly Come Dancing fans expressed relief as Balvinder Sopal was voted through to the next week during a tense results show.
On Sunday (November 9), viewers tuned in to see which of the remaining nine couples would be dancing another week, and which one will have to bid farewell to the BBC show.

As the show kicked off, marking the halfway point of the competition, Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon were one of the first couples to be confirmed as through to week eight.
This comes after Balvinder has spent multiple weeks fighting for her spot in the competition through the dance off.
The couple performed Couple’s Choice to Sapphire by Ed Sheeran where they added a Punjabi twist for Balvinder’s heritage.

Speaking to Claudia Winkleman, the EastEnders actress shared: “Saturday night was incredible. It was a lovely moment for me to be able to represent my community and culture, and to just let everybody else in to see what we’re about.
“The Punjabi Dhol is our heartbeat, and it was so lovely to do that.”
She then praised her dancing partner, and added: “His enthusiasm and just joy for the whole dance made it so much more special.”
Julian continued: “Just to everyone out there, thank you so much for the support. Thank you for voting, I’m just so glad that our journey gets to continue… I actually can’t put it into words.
“It was just complete elation and joy.” Turning to Balvinder, he added: “I just love you and it was so much fun” as the actress returned the love.
On X (formerly known as Twitter), viewers were also relieved that she made it through to week eight.
@ifeelflames wrote: “Yes Bal I was so worried for her” as @megan____77 added: “omg the relief on bal’s face”.
@brattybarbl echoed: “SO DESERVED. What a routine. The campaign to get Bal to Blackpool begins” and @flickersuggs penned: “SOOO HAPPPY BALVINDER ISNT IN THE DANCE OFF FINALLY”.
